Η Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη (AI) έχει σημειώσει μεγάλη πρόοδο. Ήδη έχει πετύχει υπεράνθρωπες επιδόσεις σε παιχνίδια όπως του Atari.
Πλέον, έχει και υπεράνθρωπες επιδόσεις στην κατανόηση βασικών πολιτικών εννοιών, αφού δείχνει να κατανοεί πράγματα που οι περισσότεροι άνθρωποι αδυνατούν να κατανοήσουν. Οι άνθρωποι, υπό ίδιες συνθήκες, συχνά παθαίνουν βραχυκύκλωμα, αρχίζουν να λένε παράλογα πράγματα όπως "αν δεν σ' αρέσει να σού παίρνουμε τα λεφτά να πας στην ζούγκλα" και άλλα τέτοια ακατάληπτα.
Επίσης, το AI δείχνει υπεράνθρωπη ικανότητα να παραδέχεται τις αντιφάσεις και να αναθεωρεί τις απόψεις του. Είναι "ανοιχτόμυαλο". Διαφαίνεται η ελπίδα, αν μάς αντικαταστήσουν τα ρομπότ, ο κόσμος να γίνει καλύτερος. 🙂
